My DD, all of 6 years old, has been hospitalised three times already. Once per year, for the last three years. We just got out of our latest hospitalisation. Each time it was for asthma, and this one was categorised as a severe attack. Sigh.. Her asthma is not getting better...
Anyway, for some unknown reason, we were in the teenager part of the hospital. Oh what fun. NOT! Our roommate was anorexic. She had skin and bones, and not much else, yet she had put 14 lbs in the last 6 weeks. WHERE? She mentionned once that she didn't understand the need for Weight Watchers. Ah, I'm a graduate of that very useful program...
Across the corridor from us were the suicide cases. Ok, so they're alive now, but what an attitude problem these kids have! Continuous talk back to everyone wanting to help them. No wonder the nurses thought my DD was sweet...
