Latin Correspondance

My son has an email penpal. I'm not too sure what they talk about, but I just learned that they converse (a little bit) in Latin.
Now I find this highly ironic and very amusing that two boys below the age of ten can exchange in Latin (a very old language) using email (a very modern tool). Beats the l33t code ;-)

I think most of DS's email sent have had to do with Star Wars and computer types. He doesn't type well, so he usually dictates to me. I have been really impressed with your guy's English skills... VERY impressed.

Ah ah! I was impressed by your son's skills too! He's younger than mine and at that age, my son wouldn't type letters like that.
I don't interfere in my son's emails at all. I don't even read them! He does tell me a bit of the conversation though. One thing is sure, he's having a blast!
